Participation in Netball is soaring across the South West. Massive
increases in participation have been seen across all areas of the
Region. The national target for increasing participation in sport is 1
% per annum. Netball participation in this region is currently
smashing the national target! In only a 10-month period to June
2007, Netball participation across the age groups grew by 9.5 %.
Over 18 participation has risen by 5.9 %, with a huge 22.8 %
increase seen in under 18s. The biggest increases have been
seen in Jersey (29.1 %) and Cornwall (14 %). For further
