A successful week for Cornish Talented Netball Players

Four players from Cornwall attended the England Excel Talent Camp in Bath Mon July 26th - July 30th

The week was full of skills tactic work and education in various aspects of sport science. The week culminated in a trial to remain in the squad
Amelia Grigg and Lucy Rickett (Both Saints Netball Cornwall), Lottie Richardson (Storm) were all successful and will now attend monthly
training with the group

They will be working towards selection for the U17 FENA squad (Federation of European Netball Associations) in December to represent
England at the Championship in March 2011

Amelia Grigg- Goal Shooter-who is still only aged 14 was also given the added opportunity of playing with an U19 Excel Talent Squad against
Namibia who were on tour in England during this week - she was thoroughly excited by this opportunity and played alongside team mates
who had just been on tour with England to Australia.

Sarah Bonar (Saints Netball) also attended the camp but was not selected on this occasion for the squad but hpefuly will have another
opportunity in December when other players can be invited in for final trials.
