TEAM BATH PERFORMANCE PATHWAY
England Netball has changed the way that the Performance Pathway is delivered. In the past England Netball funded a Regional Performance Pathway Coach in the South West and two other Pathway Coaches. With the loss of funding from Sport England things had to change. So EN has decided that the Superleague franchises will be responsible for rolling out the performance programme. In the first year there was some funding still available for the Regional Head Coach but that will eventually disappear and the franchises will have to be self-funding.
We were lucky that Team Bath valued the work being done in Cornwall and the link with Truro College to continue to have a programme being delivered here. Their new pathway is slightly different and will eventually become more team based.

COUNTY ACADEMY AND SATELLITE ACADEMIES
These will continue to be run by the County Association but eventually Team Bath will take responsibility for the running of the County Academy Programme. Currently selected players from the County Academy are given opportunity, during the season, to train at the nearest Hub and selected Satellite players are given opportunity to train, during the season with County Academy. Recommendations for attending Hub trials are made by County Academy Coaches although currently these trials are open to others who can demonstrate playing netball at the required level
